# Helvedrive

> Swiss cloud storage and file sharing by Saviano Sàrl (Geneva), hosted in Switzerland, encrypted at rest, with file versions, a 30-day trash and separate backups. Free 1 GB account. Helvedrive has an official remote MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI agents can read, search and back up files in it.

- Protected resource metadata: https://app.helvedrive.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp
- Without OAuth: create an API key in the account page and send it as `Authorization: Bearer <key>`
- Tools: list_workspaces, list_folder, search_files, read_file, list_versions (read); save_file, create_folder, move_item, trash_item, create_share_link (write access only)
- Safety: the connector never deletes permanently (trash, restorable 30 days); every save keeps the previous versions; no access to end-to-end encrypted vaults
